Senior Lotus Domino Developer

Betis Group Inc. has an exciting full-time position for a Senior Lotus Notes/Domino Engineer to work as a vital part of a small team to migrate several legacy (MS Access, ColdFusion/SQL) applications to a Domino 8 web platform for a DoD client. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated senior-level developer, with 7+ years of proven experience in web development, looking for opportunities to leverage and further his/her knowledge of Domino web development. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the systems analysis, requirements gathering, development, and data migration but will also assist in testing and deployments. This position offers a positive, dynamic work environment, as well as opportunity for further technical learning and growth.

 

Job Location

On-site with client in Arlington, VA (Ballston)

 

Period of Performance

6+ months, with possible follow-on opportunity

 

Employment Type

Negotiable: W-2, 1099, etc.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to work in a small team environment.
  • Participate in client meetings.
  • Analyze current system functionality and gather system and user requirements.
  • Work with the Team Lead to design web application solutions, in accordance with the client’s requirements.
  • Implement web application solutions, in accordance with the client’s standards:
    • Design
    • Best-Practices
    • Security
    • User Interface
    • Migrate data from legacy systems.
    • Support user acceptance testing and training.
    • Provide technical and user documentation.

 

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
  • 7+ Years Lotus Notes/Domino Web Development (Domino 8 preferred)
  • Ability to work in a small team environment
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet Federal client clearance
