Betis Group is seeking qualified Microsoft Teams Voice Engineers to join our Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Infrastructure Services team.  This is a FULLY REMOTE position on a 7.5 year period of performance contract.

Job Summary

Microsoft Teams engineer that must be a subject matter expert in Teams Voice solution development and implementations. Primarily responsible for migration of legacy PBXs across all sites by removing dependencies on the PBX platforms for financial services client.

  • Complete PBX migration via Microsoft Teams Enterprise voice
  • Analyzing existing standalone or clustered telephony infrastructure components with engineering and operations teams
  • Engineer Enterprise Voice solution for the above sites aligning with organizations’ cost save initiatives and strategic end state objectives.
  • Create best practice design, plan and deployment of solution for complete PBX, Voicemail and ISDN elimination in a phased approach incorporating standalone / highly available Session Border Controllers for PBX/Trader Voice interconnectivity, media gateways, centralized SIP trunks etc.
  • Provide Microsoft Teams solution design, plan and delivery in complex and regulated locations with multiple separate legal entities collocated in the same site.
  • To create or validate inter-relationships between PBX users in same or different sites and to design corresponding MS Teams features and dependencies.
  • To create/validate PBX to Enterprise Voice migration plan, to ensure all deployments meet the level of readiness as stipulated by the user migration team


  • Proven experience Microsoft Team Voice integration and design of complex Enterprise Voice Solutions
  • Knowledge about Unified Communications / Collaboration industry standards & trends
  • Strong presentation skills in verbal and written communication,

Skills and proven experience with following products:

  • MS Teams Voice
  • MS Teams endpoints including but not limited to IP phones
  • PowerShell
  • Knowledge about various PBXs including but not limited to Avaya, Cisco, Session Border Controllers & Media Gateways SIP trunks (Centralized, Local)
  • Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Cloud PBX features and system/user administration

General Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must pass a Public Trust background investigation

Software Asset Support Specialist

Betis Group has an immediate hire requirement for a Software Asset Support Specialist for a federal government client. This position will provide management and support for IT hardware and software assets on behalf of Government customers to include inventory management, asset tracking, asset deployment, software and license management, and asset disposal. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Washington, DC.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field. 5-years of relevant experience may be substituted
  • Between 2- and 6-years of professional experience in the IT field
  • At least 5-years of related experience managing IT assets to include, delivery and staging, asset tracking, asset deployment, license management, and asset disposal

General Experience:

  • Comfortable using technology, including smartphones and computers
  • Working knowledge of Asset Management Life Cycle to include:
    • Shipping and Receiving
    • Inventory Control
    • License Management
    • Inventory Decommissioning or Disposal
  • Ability to use Asset Management Program tools

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports and maintains the helpdesk ticketing queue for requests and assistance. Manages day to day requests from end-users to fulfill software licensing needs and answer queries
  • Assists in fulfilling and provisioning IT software and associated services to end-users
  • Participates in the managing, tracking, utilization, and reporting of software assets throughout the agency
  • Maintain asset management system, keeping it up to date for all equipment assets through their life cycle
  • Establish a systematic method to define the lifecycle of an asset and make recommendations as and when any asset needs to be replaced or retired
  • Work with vendors to evaluate new technology/upgrades on our assets, related to efficiency/energy improvement, maintenance cost reduction, and life cycle improvement
  • Monitor all asset and equipment management expenditures, repairs and maintenance, utilization and under-utilized equipment, and all asset movements
  • Applies experience to analyze end-user requests and determines those that can be quickly resolved
  • Collaborates with team members to share information and best practices, to build knowledge management within the team
  • Responds to requests from end-users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management data information
  • Processes and maintains software licensing documentation
  • Ensures collection and maintenance of accurate Software Licensing information in repositories to address software compliance and inventory
  • Assist in maintaining the media library of all SW assets

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 per year
