Data Center Project Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The Data Center Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within the defined budget
- Responsibilities will include planning and execution of technology projects, execution of technology-related tasks and initiatives, acquiring/scheduling/coordinating resources to deliver projects according to the plan
- Research and report on new technologies and how that provide value to the strategic plan of the customer
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Document the technical, financial, and resource allocation aspects of each project
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Minimum Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience directly in the IT field
- Experience with deploying infrastructure and/or other IT related projects
- Knowledgeable in project management methodology and solution development methodologies; PMP certification is preferred or will sit for exam to obtain within 6 months of placement in PM role
- Advanced, proven knowledge of project management as well as basic knowledge of infrastructure
- Knowledgeable in the areas of Windows, Linux and VMWare

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Devotes 90% of time to leading and managing projects and programs. 10% of time to business development
- Visible, accountable leader who oversees the successful delivery of projects and programs for clients and helps develop to new opportunities for future business
- Work with internal leadership to help drive best practices, standards, and methodology to the regional practices
- Ensures the change management process is utilized to maintain profitability and ensure customer satisfaction
- Lead projects relative to milestone completion while managing to resource and financial budgets
- Develops and implements complete project schedules to ensure required dates are met
- Monitors and maintain client and internal project executive satisfaction by engaging in weekly or monthly status meetings
- Assist Sales in business development activities to grow Services business
- Participates in and helps author Statements of Work (SOWs), responds to RFPs as necessary
- Presents ’s Project Management and service capabilities to prospective clients

Data Center Architect
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and administer server infrastructure in coordination with Client Communication personnel or outside vendors.
- Manage and diagnose all infrastructure related items to include Active Directory, Exchange, Data Recovery systems, ESXi and Windows server environment.
- Provision and replace data center infrastructure hardware as required to maintain mission critical operations.
- Monitor and maintain server and storage performance and capacity after modifications and updates.
- Investigate and resolve problems with performance and response time for server and storage infrastructure.
- Serve as the SME in all data center storage and server systems supported by the client.
- Provide solutions that will accommodate emerging technologies and future capacity needs.
- Determine future capacity requirements and prepare budgetary documentation for future requests.
- Participate in needs-analysis and requirements definitions with other Client personnel to determine project scope.
- Assess user needs to perform necessary upgrades to hardware and software.
- Consult with service providers and wide area communications projects.
- Maintain system security through securing, storage, and servers from physical and electronic threats.
- Maintain professional Microsoft and VMWare certifications, as necessary, to provide training to lower-level staff.
- Maintain remote connectivity solutions such as VDI.
- Exceptional abilities to provide documentation on the systems that we support.
- Willingness to serve on call to respond and assist in infrastructure outages after normal business hours.
