Systems Administrator O365 Tier 3 Support

This position requires experience in o365 and Teams support administration.

Betis Group is seeking a Systems Administrator O365 Tier 3 Support position.  This person should be able to jump into position with little to no hands on training of the following elements:

  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot MS Exchange
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot MS Teams
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting

  • Execute system management, Configuration Management, preventative and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring activities.
  • Provide comprehensive Windows systems administration and operations.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell and scripting
  • Execute tests of new Hardware and Software.
  • Perform the requirements for off-hour systems maintenance work.
  • Monitor and Support security controls and capabilities in operating systems, layered products, and specialty software to achieve security goals.
  • Install and Configure Windows systems.
  • Assist business users and systems engineers with the setup, installation, and testing of Applications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Advanced knowledge of standard System Administration tools and practices.
    Knowledge of financial services industry security standards and practices.
  • Strong Windows administration skills.
    Strong communication skills (written and oral).

Experience

  • Five or more years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange Servers on prem.
    Five or more years of experience managing and Supporting Windows Servers.
  • Experience in a financial services environment preferred.

Education

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education or experience. 

Special Certifications/Security Clearances

  • US Citizenship Required
  • Must be able to obtain a minimum of PUBLIC TRUST/CONFIDENTIAL clearance or above as required by the scope of work/work objectives

ServiceNow SME

Betis Group is looking for a ServiceNow SME to support our Federal client.  The ServiceNow SME will perform ServiceNow Architecture, development, and support activities surrounding the ServiceNow platform.

All work activities will be performed remotely unless the government requires the contractor to perform work onsite in the HQ Region.

  • Perform development, configuration activities and administration of the ServiceNow environment
  • Implement, monitor and manage integrations between third-party applications and ServiceNow
  • Define technical solutions for architecture and design that are aligned with ServiceNow ITAM implementation best practices
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow ITAM, ITOM & CMDB Products, particularly as it relates to hardware and software asset management
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of delivery of processes and maturity of the ITAM practice
  • Develop applications on the platform leveraging core ITSM tables, scripts, rules, workflows, data imports and transformations, etc.
  • Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve complex business objectives
  • Demonstrate solid insights in designing ServiceNow solutions
  • Ensure instance health by working with technical teams to reduce technical debt and align to ServiceNow leading practices
  • Demonstrate experience working with workflows in key areas of the ServiceNow platform
  • Understanding and experience with driving process optimization using automation
  • Ability to produce a functional design document to match needed customer requirements
  • Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagram, process diagrams to support and communicate changes to the ServiceNow platform
  • Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in coherent system design
  • Provide expert knowledge to ServiceNow application architecture to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps and practices. 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Five to seven years of experience in service delivery and a strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices
    • Skill in all areas of ServiceNow development and configuration including, but not limited to core ITSM tables, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods
    • Experience with ServiceNow integration with 3rd party software and applications
    • Experience with custom application development, developing and implementing API’s and knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery
    • Proven experience in facilitating requirement gathering workshops, design and development activities to deliver and deploy a satisfactory end-user experience
    • Excellent oral/written communication skills and a proven ability to present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and be able to document requirements and solution modifications
    • Experience with domain separation and system/process automation (orchestration)
    • Experience developing in JavaScript frameworks
    • High level of interpersonal skills in order to collaboratively work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
    • Experience with Configuration Management Databases and associated improvement initiatives.
    • HAM Pro experience and / or knowledge

Systems Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Betis Group is seeking to fill multiple Systems Engineer positions.  Our ideal candidates will have proven experience in VMware, Virtualization, Programming, Windows, Unix/Linux, Application Packaging, Storage and Backup, and/or Network.

VMware

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues of all VMware components to include the hypervisor, vSphere, NSX, vRealize Suite, and Site Recovery Manager. 4th Level Support

 Virtualization

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for engineering all VDI design, deployment, and maintenance of VDI systems and components within the organization. The Contractor shall install, patch, upgrade, update, and document the current environments, design, document and deploy upgrades, and provide on-site expertise for both Citrix and VMware VDI environments currently in use. 3rd Level Support

Programming

The Systems Engineer shall conduct Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) automation and improvement in support of systems. Responsible for the creation of automation scripts using programming language such as Python to automate the operations and management of the system builds and Information Technology platforms. Responsible for custom script development to interact with various application programming interfaces (API’s) and troubleshooting hyper-converged, converged, and traditional server hardware and software.

Windows

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for engineering, design, integration, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base operating system, but for all support libraries, components, and application dependencies.

Unix/Linux

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base operating system, but for all support libraries, components, and application dependencies. 4th Level Support

Application Packaging

The Systems Engineer shall create and maintain both the thick install and virtual install application packages for COTS products, GOTS products, and developed custom applications used on the enterprise environments. Currently utilized application packaging technologies include but are not limited to Microsoft App-V Sequencer, Flexera AdminStudio, BigFix, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. The Application Packager (Packager) will be part of a packaging team to support application packaging for a Windows 10 deployment as well as other commercial off the shelf products such as Chrome, Microsoft Edge based on Chromium, Adobe products and other add-ons.

Storage and Backup

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base storage & backup system, but for all features, components, and application dependencies. To include Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Tape, local disk, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, etc. 3rd and 4th Level Support

Network

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, and addressing interoperability issues for all features, components, and application dependencies. To include switches, firewalls, load balancers, software defined networking, private cloud requirements, etc. 4th Level Support

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience required ranges from 6 – 10 years minimum 

Special Certifications/Security Clearances

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • VMware—VMware Data Center Virtualization or Cloud Management and Automation certification within the last 5 years
  • Virtualization—Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), VMware Certified Professional 6 – Desktop and Mobiity (VCP6-DTM), and/or Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP)
  • Windows—Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Professional/Technology Associate (MTA) or equivalent
  • Unix/Linux—Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  • Storage and Backup—Advance mainstream storage vendor certification
  • Network—Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or DevNet Associate certifications
