Matthew Orloski

Matthew Orloski began his professional firefighting career in 2001. Matt has developed and maintained a variety of certifications throughout his career. Matt evolved from traditional firefighting/EMT responsibilities to highly specialized skillsets that involve HAZMAT, WMD response, Radiological Emergency Management, Advanced ISC for Command and General Staff for Complex Incidents, and Chemistry of Hazardous Materials.

Matt served on the National Medical Response Team for the Department of Homeland Security. Since 2012, he has served as a Rescue Taskforce Emergency Care Instructor. Matt also holds certifications in Understanding & Planning for School Bombing Incidents, DHS Radio Interoperability, Emergency Operations Center Management and Operations, and Information Technology Service Unit Leader. Matt is also an adjunct instructor at George Washington University located in Washington, D.C.
