After working with your team to identify risks, we will help develop comprehensive and actionable mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery plans.

Acts of Violence

Every year, millions of our friends, colleagues, family members, and children are affected by workplace violence. OSHA defines workplace violence is “any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other threatening disruptive behavior that occurs at the worksite.” Our Project SAFEHAVEN team includes experts who are recognized leaders in workplace violence prevention, countermeasures, and threat and risk-assessment. Understanding that threats are not the same for every client, SAFEHAVEN tailors its risk-mitigation solutions to meet known and potential threats at your location, with your people, and in your environment. Our experts will meet with your decision makers, security personnel, and local law enforcement to develop a multi-layered response plan that addresses your specific needs. Although we use technology, we understand that technology is not, by itself, the solution. Our team provides training that prepares your emergency response team and first responders to know what to do should the unthinkable occur.

Insider Threat

Take action to prevent workplace violence before it strikes. Betis Defense has an elite group of law enforcement experts who have dedicated their careers to detecting concerning behavior and mitigating the threat before disaster. Of the 27 known mass attacks in 2018, nearly all subjects made threatening or concerning communications prior to taking action. More than 75% of the attackers elicited concern from others prior to carrying out the attack. Our experts work with agency stakeholders to establish reasonable and legal surveillance and detection methods, develop threat-reporting methods, and provide training on how to handle threatening behavior and information. Let our trainers assist you with one of the most effective means of defense: Prevention.

Manmade & Natural Disaster

A tornado sets down, a coal ash pond breaches containment, brush fires merge
and race past the fire line directly toward your campus or business. It can and
does happen. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration, disasters cost the U.S. economy more than $91 billion in 2018.
With the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters, and the
potential for catastrophic manmade ones, your organization needs a robust
emergency response and continuity of operations plan. Betis Defense’s trainers
and subject matter experts have vital experience as emergency management
planners and operators who have deployed to disaster zones around the world.
We will help you to develop and exercise mitigation, continuity of operations,
and recovery plans that include the ability to track and safeguard your personnel
and infrastructure, as well as business and information assets.
